The tower of Houdan is the main part of a middle age castle, built between 1105-1137 by Le Comte d'Evreux, Amaury the third. In 1880 a water tank of 200 000 liters is installed inside. In 1903 this tower become the property of the city of Houdan (60kms west from Paris). In 2014 begin the restoration of this building and in 2016, the tower is open to the public and can go to the roof top.
