This bushtrip was created by lithilium with upload permission. To Install unzip the 'neadirbush' folder and drop it into your Community folder like any other mod.
To uninstall: Delete the neadirbush folder from your community folder. To delete saves: delete the NEADIRBUSH_SAVE folder from Microsoft Flight Simulator\MISSIONS\ACTIVITIES where Microsoft Flight Simulator is the directory your game chooses to save PLN/FLT files and weather files
FOR MODDERS there's a folder called "samplebush" included in the zip file. It's a sample bush trip project, complete with the uncompiled script. The MSFS SDK currently has nothing of the sort in it, so I hope this helps people make their own. Just compile the project and you'll have a working sample bush trip you can drag into your community folder and experiment with. There are amazing possibilites when you consider the fact you can make these trips come bundled with custom airstrips. One could make a truly bushy bush trip where you don't land anywhere that isn't a grass or dirt strip surrounded by wilderness.

Fitting that you land a Cub at Catalano airfield. Jim owns an original J3. Great Flight thanks.

Nice trip and actually the first time I did make a bush_trip, it's even more fun then I thought it was.
Only did get lost a little because the instructions say to fly around theScarface Mtn, on it's left side (so, for me that means you'll have the mtn itself on your right).
When you fly around it (as the instructions say) en turn the hdg advised you'll be to far to the left and will miss the lakes described.
In the end it's ok because it's a rather large airfield where you're supposed to land but this for me was a misfit.
Anyway: did you manage to find that crash-site??
Leg 1, 3rd part. At the river-fork when you turn west, after 30-60sec look to the right of the river and you'll fins a very weird and special view on the ground in the bush.....
Should we sent Plane Crash Investigators?? 😊
Try to find it!
