Castle Lakes airstrip (CD32)
Notam v1.0 released to remove a bug introduced with SU5
This airstrip is positioned high up in the Colorado mountains at 9,300' and is surrounded by lakes so centre line accuracy on landing and takeoffs is critical.
The default MSFS version was incorrect as trying to spawn into the airstrip put you into water, not good lol.
This version of the airstrip makes its possible to spawn at either end of the runway or at one of two parking spots.
It is still tight and water is never far away so be careful and where possible stay to the southern side of the airstrip to avoid the river running parallel with the runway. Future versions will update the region so the tracks and surrounding area are more life like

All the libraries should to be in your community folder and I would recommend the latest versions are downloaded from https://www.flightsim.to/c/scenery/libraries/
v1.0 updated to replace the runway removed by a sim update and to hack down all the trees, again, that MSFS thought should be there.
v0.2 roads around the campground have been improved and the scenery populated with some library assets
v0.1 1st release

EDIT: Kev fixed the following issues straightaway, and all is good now!
Hi Kev… Just tried to start a flight here again and some type of corruption seems to have happened recently (assumedly from sim updates?) Perhaps you could take a look and confirm what I’m seeing isn’t just my setup?
With your addon installed, the airport is now mapped as a water start only (anchor symbol), the runway starts are no longer appearing, and the two remaining parking spots warn that a float plane is required. Using a float plane though, the Fly Now button won’t activate a flight.
Strangely, if I remove your addon, the default airport appears as a regular dry runway (but with runway starts only) and allows the loading of any kind of aircraft. I’ve checked my community folder and don't appear to have any other conflicting addons.
Flying in from elsewhere with your addon installed is still "OK". All your wonderful scenery assets appear as usual, though the runway is extremely crowded with tall trees now making landing even in the smallest aircraft a bit dangerous. There’s also now a house on the hillside just to the south of the lakes with a huge immersion breaking BRIGHT GREEN circular clearing that wasn’t there before. I can only assume that at some point Asobo corrected the previously flooded original default version, but in doing so broke your addon?
Without a doubt, Castle Lakes with your scenery is such a fabulous and unique place to explore the San Juan’s from it’d be a shame not to be able to start flights here. I’d hate to have to go back to the blasé default.

I downloaded this awhile back, but just happened upon it the other day out randomly flying around. This is a tough one to get into landing, but fun, and good scenery area too.

My first attempt at landing there triggered an immediate crash and it was clear the default airfield was flooded. No way to even spawn here without triggering a crash. Just last night I thought “I should fix CD32 soon… we (the simming community) really need this airfield working.” And bada bing, logged on today and you’ve done it!
It’s really a fabulous hub for exploring the San Juan’s and with 3,200 feet of runway you can even fly some faster GA planes in and out of here too like the Mooney which needs some runway to get up to speed. Thanks again. And again. And OK, one more time. Happy landings!
