Ah yes, the backcountry 152!
Features:
- 5 extra degrees of flaps for a total of 35 degrees
- 150 horsepower engine to take off shorter!
- Better and stronger brakes
- Removed Co-pilot to save weight.
- Simulated Horton STOL Chamber Cuffs which lower the stall speed greatly allowing you to save more runway!
- Other Various revamps to make the aircraft more stol capable and ready to fly in the bush
Variants:
-Normal 152 variant
-Big wheel variant with, you guessed it- Big wheels
-Taildragger (Nobody ever liked nose draggers anyway ;)
Install Instructions:
Included in the download are 2 folders. 1 is named 'sj-cessna-152', this version is the default version of the plane and will overwrite the default Asobo Version. The second folder is named 'sjfly2-c152-backcountry' this version is the big wheel variant and acts as a standalone aircraft. The third folder is named 'sjfly2-c152-taildragger' this version is the taildragger variant which also acts as a standalone aircraft. These 3 variants can be installed seperately or together.
Feel free to give feedback in the comment section, this is my first aircraft project and its gonna need a lot of work but I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Google! Sorry for my bad english!
Having held the controls of a c152 a long time ago, I will refrain from any overly pointed criticism of the flight model! I can still call it excellent! It's a delight ! One of the best in my eyes in simulation! Sure, some purists will find fault with it, but that would be really nitpicky! Bravo for this achievement that I finally decide to discover! One shot on it will turn in my simulation! Only one remark: the propeller and other reflections on the windshield are annoying especially when there is a student at the controls and probably a little too exaggerated compared to reality! Is there a way (I suspect so) to remove or reduce them? Thank you and congratulations again!

Why is the file disabled? I was looking forward to having this taildragger. 😞

The radios/transponder do not function among other bugs sadly. Great plane, I LOVE flying it but it needs an update. Thanks

Hey there! Fantastic plane. See your working on the SU5 compatibility update, so i'll just mention them in passing.
Radio+knobs within the cockpit not clickable (at least in legacy mode)
Brakes seem VERY aggressive. anything more than around 10-20% in the taxi will have you nosing into the dirt.
No issue with the flaps/noise reported by others.
Otherwise its a dream to fly and a lot of fun. Highly recommend for some back country bush flying.

Love this mod. So... I did re-texture your plane for myself and I won't redistribute your product with my skin ( because I wouldn't do that), but I would like to mention you in the YouTube video with a link to your mod if that's okay with you? https://youtu.be/YhFHUuffymk

Of course it’s okay with me! Love the skin!

After MSFS2020 Update #5 I experienced issues with flaps. The sound of flaps motor keeps playing back in the positions when extending or retracting. It only stop at fully extended or fully retracted.

I installed the taildragger. I am having constant nose-overs when taxiing (not fast) and applying brakes, either differentially or both.
This is not happening to me in other MSFS default taildraggers, AH's 140, or a MOD 172 taildragger.
Any help would be appreciated

You need to avoid applying brakes at all costs...very light usage of the brakes while taxing is ok, but avoid them if possible and maintain as much back pressure as you can while taxing
