New Terminal building thanks to photos supplied by a fellow simmer. Thank you.. I hope they meet your approval.
Known as "The Gateway to the North", The Pas is located 525 km north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is sometimes still called Paskoyac by locals after the first trading post, called Fort Paskoya and constructed during French colonial rule.
I have actually spent time in The Pas, although I always knew it as "Le Pas" pronounced as in "paw", so was surprised that this popular airport was left out of the simulator. I have reached out to some locals to obtain some photos of the terminal buildings, and as soon as I have some I will update the airport with a custom terminal.

Hey scenery looks great, only thing is I have double runways for 13/31. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks!
MazerMart author
Let me check that out.. It is normally caused when the original runway is not removed and a new one is added in the add-on scenery. It might be something done in the latest update. WU11

Great scenery like everything you do! I have them all. Only one thing I notice and I don't think it is an issue with the scenery but since SU9 I am getting a double runway. I tried tracking it down and since I just got GSX thought that might be the problem but there is no entry for GSX to exclude and then I saw that Navigraph could be the isssue. Hoping you can help because it looks great and hoping to do some flying around Manitoba.

HI.. Thank you for the compliments and I will look into some of the forums to see if there is a reason. I am waiting until the next update before I upload any more as ithey usually require that airports are brought up to that version. So thank you for your patience.
I am gettting double runway markings on some of the commercial airports I have downloaded such as Billy Bishop in Toronto.

I currently live in The Pas. Looks good. if i could offer some changes please do not take this a negative i have recently flown in and out of there. The car parking is not angled its parallel to the terminal building. The apron is closer to the runway, and so there is more apron room

That is good info.. I will make changes. thanks..

I grew up in the area and was sad to see this airport wasn't included. Thank you so much for making this!

Sorry for the late reply.. I would love to do the custom terminal building as an update. Need to get some decent photos though.

I flew out of The Pas from 2001 to 2009 and occasionally after that. I flew the CL215 water bomber and C310 birddog. Fire suppression aircraft could be there from April till September and for quite a few of those years I lived in a trailer right on the airport during that time. Wonderful was to spend your summer. For about a month each side of June 21st the northern sky never got dark due to how far north The Pas Airport is. Sometimes in May a late spring snow storm could come along leaving behind a foot of the white stuff. Being 30 km from town there was no "light pollution" and the stars in the sky were spectacular. Beginning of august the northern lights would return and in the morning dew would be on the grass in the morning so we'd know the fire season was starting to wind down. I am really pleased to see this airport added to MSFS. Flin Flon (CYFO) about 70 miles NNW would be great to have updated too.
