Updated for BBS BN-2 V2
ZK-MCC Textures only for the payware Black Box Simulations Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander. Mount Cook Airline New Zealand introduced the BN-2 in 1970 as a more economic alternative to Twin Otters that were in use on a number of short routes and flightseeing flights. This livery from the 1970's ZK-MCC was built 1974 C/N 395 and entered service for Mt Cook in 1975. Unfortunately she was later written off as P2-ALF in PNG. With the help of my requestor Captrossco1 this repaint is both inside and outside as close as we could make it to his memory as a crewman.
Happy Landings, Enjoy :)

Thanks for converting it. It's one of my absolute favourites and by far the best looking MCO livery ever!
Would look good on the Twin Otter as well I can imagine.

Thanks mate afraid I don't own the T'wotter though thinking about it for the sort of flying I enjoy

If you haven't done so already, you need to update the panel image to the 1.1.2 update version which changes the transponder selector and numbers.

Hi Tiger, yes updates done. For the moment I've rolled back to the default panel, I'll get the black panel back when things have stabilized.

Looks really nice - I wasn't going to get the Islander but I think I will now just to use this livery.

Thanks for that and I'm sure BBS will thank you too :)
Sometimes fairly simple liveries can turn out 'more pleasing' than average and/or I'd have expected. CaptRossco1 did a fine job of quality control.

A real pleasure working with you on this one!
What a beauty!! Also info was obtained from a former BN-2A Captain for Mt Cook Airline who did a couple of thousand hours on these. Let me know if you need any future info on others of the Mt Cook fleet 1970s to late 80’s particularly the HS-748 as I started as Flight Steward on these in ‘75.
Crankpin author
:) well if JF ever 're-release' the HS-748 ......
I did do a pretty reasonable repaint of the Mt Cook 748 livery in FSX years ago .... it's still on AVSIM
