KRGK - Red Wing Regional Airport
The Red Wing airport is an airport for the city of Red Wing, MN. Interesting point of note, while the city is on the eastern edge of Minnesota, the airport itself is across the Mississippi River and located in Wisconsin. It conststs of one runway (9/27) and has a three instrument approaches (one ILS and two RNAV).
This scenery corrects another airport with flat hangar syndrome in that there are no hangars in the default installation of MSFS. I have added generic hangars to the airport, corrected taxiway names (based on what I could find in posted videos, there is no official taxiway diagram I could find with the taxiways listed) and added a couple additional parking locations.

MN is getting represented pretty well these days. Lots of MN airports now on here.

Happy to see that MN can get some support by the community!

Thank you so much for doing KRGK! Now that there is a reason to fly in/out of Red Wing, hopefully there is an easy way to perhaps fix the two massive terrain spikes nearby, at around "44.65335456754781, -92.62535292250939", just north west of the airport, and at around "44.56974037669476, -92.52468530410992", just south of the airport. That is if I'm not the only one who sees those spikes (they became present after one of the MSFS updates earlier this year).

I see the spikes too. I was hoping that perhaps sim update 4 would fix it. I didn't have time to look at the sim yet after the update to see if it did. I'm guessing the answer is no. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy flying out of the Red Wing area. We have family nearby and travel by the river often. It is a very nice area and great area for flying! Enjoy!

Very nice! I took a look at this airport in Google Earth and you really brought it to life in MSFS. I'd recommend you add a screenie of the default airport in MSFS so others can see how far you brought it. My local airport here, KESN, suffered from the same malady. Thank goodness someone else did it as well.

Thanks! There are no lack of airports that suffer from the flat building issue. I want to get some of my local area fixed up. Glad someone fixed up your local airport too. Thanks again for checking it out!
