Presenting the payware PMDG DC-6B in a bare metal configuration just off the production line. I created this largely for myself to be a sort of base texture layer to paint new liveries over and therefore if you want you can go ahead and use it as a paint kit.
If however you are perverted enough that you want to take her up into the skies naked as is then be my guest.
It is a .ptp file which you can install through the PMDG operation center using the install from PTP option.

How can I edit this and add my VA logo onto the aircraft?
platohjwang
how to use this .ptp file?

In the PMDG Operations Center you have to go to Livery Management and then select Install Livery From PTP. Select the unzipped .PTP file and it will install it for you.

So what is the difference between this and the paint kit?
Padday author
Currently banging my head against my desk at the realisation that it was already in the paint kit. I downloaded the paint kit, saw the default PMDG texture files and assumed that was all it was.
In answer to your question, nothing other than I basically spent hours recreating it from scratch
Edit: actually, this has .comp files for the metallic finish which the paint kit doesn't. Okay, it wasn't as much of a waste of time at least.
