How about doing NAS Lemoore?
DC1973 author
I'd like to do more sceneries for sure, but it's not going to happen for some time.

SU9 status: Works, but there are some double parked planes. Fightertown hangar is also double. But these are not breaking issues.

This scenery doesn't seem to be working since the latest sim update - I only see the "Marine Corps Air Station" with F/A-18's.
DC1973 author
Not sure to be honest but probably needs removing from Community Folder and then a sim-restart, shut down and put NAS Miramar back again. Might clear the order of scenery up as a result.

supergrunt
realy nice build 😊 i do seem to have the asobo and DC miamars conflicting (i get double parked planes at some spots now trying to figure out how to solve that..) but that aside its a realy nice airfield to start playing with the F-14 : ) keep it up

How's this working with the latest MSFS20 build?
DC1973 author
No idea to be honest, but I have had no negative reports so I think it's okay.

MMMM this needs a ugrade look how it is in Little navmap, no refueling stands !
DC1973 author
LOL! A one-star due to no fuel stands, some people... SDK was bugged when the airfield was built, couldn't place any fuel stands. I will update when I get time, but as most users now have the free Asobo Miramar also, it's not a high priority.

Hi, love flying my DC Designs F-14 out of Miramar. The MSFS 2020 Game of the year being release on Nov 18th notes they are enhancing this airport. Will there be a conflict? Thanks.
DC1973 author
No conflict, just remove your DCD Miramar from the community folder then replace it after updating - it should be fine. Sorry for late reply, I don't visit this site all that much :)

Thanks for making this free! I've lived in the San Diego area for almost 20 years and remember seeing and hearing the Hornets out practicing when I worked in an office building nearby. Also love your Stearman and am looking forward to buying your Concorde the day it's released. Would have already bought your Tomcat if I wasn't saving up for the Concorde. 😊

I was there in the late 70's early 80's with VF-2 Bountyhunters. The scenery is pretty good but you maybe think about inclueding one of the most iconic squadrons there. VFP-63, Light Photo Recon Squadron, they flew a variant of the F-8 Crusader and was the last naval squadron to have enlisted naval aviators
Davidws10
It's cool that you mentioned the enlisted naval aviators. My dad made his final flight in the backseat of an F-4J Phantom in 1978 at NAS Fallon while assigned to VF-301, the Devil's Disciples. Dad was with the F-4 program from its inception in the Navy until its retirement.

Thanks a lot Dean, way cool !

Good start, I think the tower could do with a bit more love. Really needs transparent glass and a guy in there drinking coffee!
DC1973 author
The glass should be transparent, I think one of the blend settings is wrong, something I must have overlooked. Will sort it in an update, and will definitely add a very irritated, coffee-drenched officer :)

Beautiful scenery I love the amount of detail on the Hornet and Tomcats, that's how I'd expect "Top Guns" pan to look.
with one tiny observation, the rescue winch on the Chinook is on the right side, over the crewmans door, not the left 😉
DC1973 author
Thanks! The Chinook is actually an Asobo model, so I can blame them for that one! The rest, and any errors there, are all mine though
