Changes the flight_model.cfg and the cockpit.cfg to make the aircraft more enjoyable to fly.
F-14A Flight_model.cfg:
-Eliminates the shaking or "spring" effect of the elevators and rudders.
-Limits the aircraft to 8-9 G's.
-Decreases the amount of AOA the aircraft can do. Although you can still overstress the aircraft at lower speeds while restricting it more at high speeds.
-Brings the external camera closer to the aircraft.
-Locks the gear above 250kts.
-Increased the MOI ( moment of inertia ) of the elevators to make the aircraft feel more weighty.
F-14B Flight_model.cfg:
-Limits the aircraft to 7-8 G's.
-Decreases the amount of AOA the aircraft can do even more than the A variant to prevent overstressing of the wings.
-The rest stays the same for both variants.
Since the A and B variants have different engines i made two cockpit.cfgs. One for each variant.
A/B Cockpit.cfg:
-Changes the IAS display on the external HUD. ( Green 100-600kts, Yellow 600-830kts, Red 830-900kts )
Replace both the flightmodel.cfg and the cockpit.cfg in the aircrafts main folder. You have to replace the files for each variant. (A/B)
Community\dcdesigns-aircraft-f14\SimObjects\Airplanes - you'll find both versions here

Does this work on the f-14 downloaded from in-game market? There doesn't seem to be a flight_model.cfg to be replaced

One question though, if these changes based on documentations on how t he F14 should actually be, or it's just modified to taste?
