Royal Air Force Church Fenton or RAF Church Fenton (ICAO: EGCM) was a former RAF station located 4.3 miles (6.9 km) south east of Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, England and 6.3 miles (10.1 km) north west of Selby, North Yorkshire, near the village of Church Fenton. The station was opened in 1937 and during the Second World War was home to air defence aircraft, a role retained by the station until the 1960s when it became a training station. It closed in 2013 and is now a civilian airfield known as Leeds East Airport.
I did my Primary Flying Training here in 1972, so have fond memories of the unit.
To see all the objects you will need all the Asobo airfields, plus the Library files I identify in the screenshots. The links are also listed below.
To install the scenery, just unzip and place the file into your Community folder.

The Canberra is a great aircraft. I hope we get one for MSFS in the near future. The Just Flight model for P3D is pretty good.

Hi Tag21,
Just a little tip - if you like it, take it, if you don't - ignore it.
When you name your addon file, please take into account the people using it.
Many of us use Addon Managers, and it is much easier for us if the unzipped structure and the zip file name match - it's much easier to weed out the old versions that way.
This isn't mandatory or anything - as I said, it just makes it easier to identify what's in a particular archive. Fortunately for the end users, most developers follow this naming convention.

Not enough devs care about it at all. Like making a million different folders for one add-on, or not even naming them remotely after what they are or belong to. This is bad especially when you unzip several add-ons at the same time and you have no idea if it's an airport or scenery or where on the world it is (for proper linking in add-ons linker)

Did you find this https://web.archive.org/web/20150214045559/http://www.leeds-airport.uk/gallery.html during your research into the base?

I did see that, but it is focused on the more recent past of Leeds East. The historic perspective is better described in https://www.rafchurchfenton.org.uk/

Can we have both Church Fenton RAF base and Leeds East airports in the sim at the same time? They appear to be in the same location, so do all the old Church Fentom buildings etc still exist, or have they been changed since RAF days?

John, If you look at Google Maps you will see that many of the original buildings have been knocked down. I used some artistic license to place buildings into vacant plots. Leeds East and RAF Church Fenton are the same place.
