This is a vibrant community airport in one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario and the kind of place I would spend a week-end at, just to hang out and talk airplanes. It is an important part of the community and often holds special events to promote flying and get kids and families involved. I swear, if I'm in the area I'm going to drop in for some great food at the "Airport View Restaurant". I bet the coffee is amazing.
I thought I would do this one while getting the final parts of Peterborough together. So with the help from images from Malcolm Cook from Loomex and the Kawartha Lakes Flyilng Club, I hope you get as good a feeling of the warmth this airport delivers to the area, as I do. .
By the way, it takes many, many hours to do the research, find photos, get textures, build the models and put together even a fairly straightforward airport like this one. I've included an image of what the default version was. Everything was redone..So, for myself and other developers our only reward is the thanks, those 5 stars and the positive comment you give. So keep them coming.
I alway like to thank those who also make these sites possible and whose links you should consider having in your community folder. Here are the links

Thanks too to Roman Designs. Ottawa flag used.. here.. (still trying to figure out how he animated it) If you haven't purchased Ottawa.. It is amazing.
Enjoy.. help the small and important community airports. Drop in and say thanks. If you have any in your area that could use a redo.. Let me know.

Thank you so much! I've been waiting for someone to create my hometown airport of Lindsay. Great job to the creator/creators!

I'm pretty sure I remember FlightChops or someone mentioning that Lindsay has the best butter tarts! I guess it'll be VR. Thanks for helping the community build in all the best Ontario airports! Free or payware. Nothing like flying at home.

I have started a Trent-Severn Waterway Flyable bush tour.. Would be a nice trip to fly the entire water system from Trenton all the way to Port Severn

Thanks.. The better images I have the more content I can include.. I was pleasantly surprised by the response I got from the folks at this airport, which is nice. Most often they think it's a game so forget it.

Could you do CYOO?
MazerMart author
I was definitely looking at that.. It is more complex than Peterborough but it might be worth taking a stab at. The good thing is the Google Earth has decent imagery. If you are from that area and can take some images of detail stuff .. like signs etc that would work. But I have to finish Peterborough first, then redo Bathurst NB and Muskoka I would like to do too.
