In 1964, Buon Brieng was one of the largest CIDG camps in II Corps. It had been built around a Montagnard village. At that time, CPT Gillespie’s A-312 joined a Vietnamese Special Forces team to work with a battalion-sized Montagnard strike force to combat PAVN forces.
This was also the site of a large Montegnard rebellion against the SVN Government, which eventually ended with the help of US Advisors.

I can't stop thinking about this scenery; this might be the most obscure and specific scenery anyone has made so far... are you a vet and this is a memory from your life, or is it just some place you read about and thought would be interesting to model?

I am not a vet. I grew up with guys dads who were in VN. It’s a time that drastically affected America, as you know. Studying the history and our missteps is very interesting to me. I also have zero background in gaming design, as some people have mentioned..lol. Happy you like it!
