Boulia Airport is a public airport serving the outback town of Boulia, in far west central Queensland. The town is known for the annual Boulia Camel Races, drag races on the airport's runway, and for sightings of the Min Min light. Boulia is 245km south of Mount Isa, 335km north of Birdsville, and about 450km west of Longreach. The airport is served by REx with scheduled flights to Bedourie, Birdsville, Brisbane, Charleville, Mount Isa, Quilpie, Toowoomba, and Windorah; as well as private flights, charter flights and weekly Royal Flying Doctor Service flights supporting the town's health centre.
The main focus here was to update the airport to it's newer layout and remove the auto-generated buildings from the taxiways. This scenery aims to represent the airport as it is now with it's larger terminal building, car park, and covered fueling area. It is strongly suggested that you download and install the Mikea.at Asset Pack and Colinj's Library, as this scernery uses some of those assets.
Version 1.0:
- Corrected runway material and added and custom runway markings
- Fixed windsock location
- Added gables and cones around runway
- Removed building from taxiway
- Added correct parking locations
- Removed blurry autogen roads near the airport
- Removed airport service vehicles
- Moved the terminal building to reflect the position of the new, larger building that has been constructed since the MSFS imagery was taken
- Minor improvement to town landmarks
- Added the NDB towers just NE of the airport
- Misc. scenery and vegetation fixes/additions
Known Issues:
- No perimeter fence until Asobo adds a fence tool
- Minor ground texture issues
If I've overlooked anything or you have any suggestions, please leave a comment.
Thanks, and enjoy!

Nice to see these remote airports being created (and very well). Thanks.
Re the commentary, "Boulia is 245km south of Mount Isa, 335km north of Birdsville, and about 450km west of Birdsville". Should that be 450 west of Longreach???
