This is my fourth mission for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. It is a remake of the FSX mission: Sitka Approach.
Put the file "pilotcs-discovery-sitka" into the MSFS Community folder. The mission can be found under Activities - Custom Content - Discovery Flights - Sitka Approach.
It's a beautiful summer evening as you approach Sitka, Alaska with your flight instructor after a cross-country flight to Juneau.
What you need: Scenery for my FSX Missions
Note: This is a discovery flight, because there are no other ways to make a landing challenge in MSFS with voiceovers. The mission pointers are there by default. When you landed you have to exit the mission by youself.
Thanks to BuffyGC for his awesome tool BushTripInjector.

A fantastic remake of a classic FSX tutorial. With limited developer capabilities this challenge is better than some of the in-built 2020 training! Perfect timing, scenery, audio and educational value in this exciting flight.

Man that brought back memories of FSX, thank you. I must have played that mission dozens of times back in the day.
I'm assuming it would be impossible to stick the cruise ship from the FSX mission in there under the landing path, but is it not possible to get an actual Cessna Caravan coming in to land in the mission? Or did I just not see her...?

When I was in the Navy, I flew up from Whidbey Island, WA and actually shot the arcing LDA approach into Sitka. One of the most beautiful and challenging approaches, and I was blessed with a VMC conditions. There's islands, volcano's, fishing boats, whales, so many cool things we saw!
