This is my fifth mission for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. It is a remake of the FSX mission: Monsoon Approach.
Put the file "pilotcs-discovery-monsoon" into the MSFS Community folder. The mission can be found under Activities - Custom Content - Discovery Flights - Monsoon Approach.
After a long flight from England, you've descended towards Singapore's Changi Airport (WSSS), only to find a monsoon pounding the city. With minimal fuel and no forecasted breaks in the storm, you've got to make the approach. Your copilot will help reduce the workload.
You need advanced understanding of the B747 FMC, the autopilot and ILS approaches.
After starting check the autopilot for the correct settings.
Note: This is a discovery flight, because there are no other ways to make a landing challenge in MSFS with voiceovers. The mission pointers and the music are there by default. When you landed you have to exit the mission by youself.
There is a option with the white 747 as in the original FSX Mission and one with the Landmark livery as in the callsign. Only one version will work.
The main file is the Landmark version and the other file is the white version.
What you need: Salty 747
Thanks to BuffyGC for his awesome tool BushTripInjector.

I was going to try out the mission today, but it seems you made a mistake with the first sound file that plays when you start the mission. I was very confused as to why we would be contacting Quito approach for a landing into Singapore, but indeed it seems like you put the sound file for the Quito approach mission in this one. I checked the sound files to make sure it wasn't something weird I had done but yeah the monsoon_Mission_14 file is wrong.

I have to have a go at this. 3 weeks ago I was in Singapore and it rained all week, Wednesday was a bit of a monsoon day. I loved it. I hope I like this too.
