From 1885 when PEI (Prince Edward Island) agreed to become part of the Canada, until May 1997, one had to take a ferry across the often frozen Northumberland Strait to see Anne of Green Gables. Building the world's longest bridge over a frozen body of water (in winter of course) was an engineering challenge but has helped PEI enjoy a stable flow of tourists from the mainland since.

Unusable in WU11 unfortunately, as it's duplicated with the new Asobo Confederation bridge. Yours looks better, can you fix it to exclude the Asobo bridge, make the cars actually drive on the bridge and not fly above it like the Asobo one, and make it work with the new terrain on the banks?

Thanks. I attempted to remove the bridge created for WU11. For some unknown reason it will not come out. So unfortunately my advice is to remove my model in order to give you a single bridge.
In the meantime I will look for another solution. Cheers
It was a difficult bridge to do because of its length. Getting the cars to go over it is tricky and getting the landing areas to blend is even trickier.
Since the update there are a few airports etc I have to revisit and some have lost their runways and other major airport features eg Peterborough. grrrrr.

The file says its an airport and the name says its a bridge. The description says bridge but that the airport will be further developed. So... Before I install this - This is a bridge right? I am interested in bridges not airports so just wanted to be sure before I dedicated hard drive space to it. Thanks!

Yes it is the bridge. Summerside is also improved from the default but not my much. MSFS make it kinda difficult to create a scenery object, such as a bridge, without an airport, so I normally add an airport to my bridges or lighthouses etc. eg Cape Cod.

Your screenshots don't do it justice, it looks way better in game. Thanks for making it, I'm the original one who requested it; very good work.

You are very kind. And you are Welcome. I wanted to get down to PEI this summer but could not. Next year perhaps.

No joke. Finally this important canadian bridge. Thank you so much, so appreciated.

This was a much needed atlantic canadian addon. One question, is this bridge a solid object? Asking for... safety reasons. Thanks

Can you land on it.. I didn't make it a collision object and flying under a road is sometimes a problem in MSFS.. so when you fly under the bridge it will give you a jolt if you are going quickly but might crash a slow moving airplane.
Not sure if that answered your question. If you want to land I could revise it to be collision. That might work.
