This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat by Flying Iron. It shows Grumman F6F-5N F(N)59 of VNF(N)-541 "Bat Eyes", one of the few US Navy aircraft with noseart. Maybe this squadron got away with it since they were based on remote island Falalop in May 1945. The real aircraft was a night fighter with radarpod on the wing. Repaint by JanKees.

Thanks for this and your other repaints; they look great! I poked around the internet to find out more info on the Bat-Eye squadron, as I'd not heard of them, and it was a great read.
I also found a paint guide for this plane, 59, where it looks like the nose art was only painted on the left-hand side of the nose and was not painted on the right-hand side. Here's the guide: https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Hellcat/VMFN541/pages/Grumman-F6F-5N-Hellcat-VMFN-541-F(N)59-Falalop-Island-Ulithi-Atoll-May-1945-0C.html
I also found this photo, which shows different pin-up nose-art for two fellow Bat-Eye Hellcats (Along with 59). It'd be awesome if you could paint them up, too! After all, as you said, Navy nose-art was very rare, and it looks like these were some of the only examples, so it'd be great to have them out there.
