This is a livery for the Standard Asobo Robin DR400.
It shows the the old paint scheme from around 2004 and I find it was a very special and beautiful livery.
The wings and rudder were just white in this time. So I did it on this livery.
If anybody can provide fotos of the painted wings, please send a message. I could add them in a later version.
In 2012 the D-ELBT was damagaged and got a new paint scheme (white-blue)
(The new white and blue livery is also available on Fligtsim.to.)
The original aircraft is a DR400 RP that means it was fitted with a 200HP Porsche engine and later equiped with a Lycoming OV-540 with 235HP.
Unfortunately I was not able to change the engine power from the ASOBO model.
The additional windows and the transparent canopy was painted black on the fuselage. Just imagine they are covered by a sun protection tinting film...
If You want to know more about the history of D-ELBT and the paint scheme, please see the "D-ELBT_Story" PDF-File which is part of this package.
Installation:
Just copy the "DR400-D-ELBT-2004" folder in your "comunity" folder and start MSFS.
You are ready to have fun...
Please notice, that You should not type a tailnumber in the Aircraft-Customization Menu. This would overlap the original design.
Thanks to ASOBO for the DR400, all painters who provided a lot of good ideas and templates and the Flugsportverein Bad Tölz e.V. for Fotos and detailed Information...
