Little Navmap aircraft performance for Black Square's Velocity XL.
The performance data are composed of 6 files with different configurations of speed and altitude in order to calculate a more accurate flight plan.
Check "Remarks" tab in "Edit Aircraft Performance" (Alt+Shift+E) in Little Navmap for informations about power settings for climb, cruise and descent.
Have a good flight.

Do I need to add 4 gal of unusable gas to the block fuel value? My last flight I had about 4 gal left and my fuel ran out. The flight plan said I should have about 4 gal left at destination, I was under the impression that this was 4 gal usable.

One important parameter to take in account if you are flying with live weather is the wind strength and direction when planing your flight. Headwind will raise your fuel consumption since they reduce your ground speed thus making your flight longer in time. Tailwind will raise your ground speed, making you arrive at your destination faster and burning less fuel. Note that true air speed (TAS) will always be the same whatever head or tailwind you are flying in. TAS may increase or decrease with wind gusts or abrupt wind change but will always settle back to the TAS you had before the said wind change. Since my profile is calculated with no wind (0 wind speed) consider the true air speed (TAS) of the profile as being the ground speed (GS). To have a better idea of your fuel burn for a specific flight with a specific meteorlogical condition you can increase or decrease the true air speed of the profile (do not change the fuel flow in cruise). Say, you know you will have 20 to 30kn of headwind the most of your flight, decrease the TAS of the profile by 30 knots. This will increase your flight duration and give you a more precise fuel consumption estimation. 4 gallons is 4.6% of the usable fuel capacity. It is very tight. If you are not sure about the kind of winds you are going to encounter, add 10 to 20% to the block fuel estimation. Or plan a fuel stop if you are very close from the maximum range of the aircraft. As a general rule, never go to close from the maximum range of your aircraft. Better safe than sorry :-) You can find accurate wind (and global weather) prevision on websites such as meteoblue.com, MSFS live weather injects meteoblue data in their weather engine and the result is pretty accurate in the sim, or windy.com who has a more precise altitude selection and is about the same in prevision accuracy than meteoblue.
