LN-WND is a DC-3A, originally built as a C-53D in 1943 in Santa Monica, California. She joined the USAAF 8th Air Force, based in the U.K. In November 1944, she was transfered to the 1st TACAF, in Vittel, France, to be used as the Commander General aircraft. This is where she got the markings "Little Egypt".
In 1948, she was converted to a DC-3A and was taken up by Finnair, until 1969. She then operated in the Finnish Air Force, being the Finnish President's aircraft at that time. She was eventually bought by Thore Virik and Arne Karlsen, who founded the Dakota Norway association. Since 1986, this aircraft has flown out of Torp every summer, between May and September, and also participates to airshows around Europe.
As this aircraft has had several different liveries since it is operated by Dakota Norway, I chose to make the livery that I liked the most, which is the one that was being displayed in 2011.
So, this livery depicts LN-WND as it was exactly during the Duxford Air Show of July 2011. It looks very similar to the livery that was used between 2006 and 2011.
There are two versions available for download, either the Classic Version (main file), or the Retrofit Version with the GPS (secondary file). Choose the version you prefer, and once downloaded, place the folder contained in the archive into your ..\InstallationPackages\Community folder.
I hope that you will enjoy flying low and slow over Norway (or somewhere else!) with this livery. Please leave a review if you enjoy it, that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

With both versions in the downloads having the same path, means it's only possible to have one or the other installed at the same time 😞

Fixed :) Re-download the "retrofit" file and it will fix the issue.
