- Fuselage and wing parts recovered from Tadji, West Sepik, PNG, 1974.
- Trucked to beached then barged to Lae, PNG.
Charles Darby, Auckland, NZ, 1974-1997.
- Shipped to NZ.
- Stored in backyard.
Charles Darby & Garth Hogan, Aucklan, 1997-2000.
- Restoration to airworthy, Eat Tamaki, Auckland, 1997-2000.
- Final assembly at Hobsonville AB.
- First flight March 17, 2000.
- Flew as RAAF/A29-448/GA-C/Currawong.

Its a personal mod based on a freeware pilot you can find on here for Maverick. I changed the flight suits and helmets to suit my own need.
