FlightFX Cirrus SF50 Vision AAO Scripts & StreamDeck XL Profile & StreamDeck + Profile
This is my first Stream Deck profile and I borrowed heavily from the outstanding work and images that have been created by Guenseli, and even this release page leverages his verbage. This profile is released with his permission (THANKS Guenseli!)
https://flightsim.to/profile/Guenseli
You need LORBYs AAO and its StreamDeck Plugin to run this StreamDeck profile.
ATTENTION!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
- When you import SD profiles, make sure to delete the old ones, otherwise you'll get profile copies.
- Make sure to always have the latest AAO and AAO StreamDeck plugin versions!
- Please ask Guenseli if you want to use parts of this SD profile or images in your own SD profile.
Installation:
- Install the SD profile by double clicking the file "Cirrus SF50 Vision.streamDeckProfile"
- Install the SD + profile by double clicking the file "PLUS Cirrus SF50 Vision.streamDeckProfile"
- Import the AAO script "AxisAndOhsScripts_Cirrus_SF50_Vision.xml" according to the AAO manual
- Import the AAO script "DropTop_Views-AxisAndOhsScripts.xml" according to the AAO manual. This is for the Views page on the SD+
Known issues:
- This is definitely still a work in progress.
- The Emergency Gear Handle button is not working using the commands provided by FlightFX for some reason.

Can't get it to work.
SD Plus is OK. Best for the AP functions really.
But it's a lot more complex than the others.
Gabe777
I'm going to use your excellent XL profile and see if I can transfer at least, the AP functions, to the SD plus.
If it works I'll update it and credit it all to you !

Hi
Just wanted to say thanks, This is a great plane and with your addon is it so much fun to play with. But I have one question. The Stream Deck does often jump to default profile when I'm flying. Is it just me or are more experiencing this ?

You're welcome! Glad you like the profile. It was my first so took me a while to figure out the basics.
As far as your Stream Deck jumping back to the default profile, I did see something like that when I was experimenting with the Stream Deck settings. There is a setting that I turned on not understanding what it really did, and it ended up causing the default profile to keep appearing without me doing anything.
I got there by choosing "Edit Profiles" and then I selected the "Default Profile" from the list of all of my profiles and I turned on the setting "Make this my default profile". If you have that enabled for any or your profiles try to turn that setting off to see if it fixes it for you.

Hi Great profile - one question i want the value of the trim to be absolute Degrees not a percentage i have looked at the SDK do you / anyone else know if this can be done so that pitch will return 5deg instead of 24%?

Great question and I'm not sure what is available from the SDK for trim but when I have a chance I'll do some poking around to see what I can find.

Just got a Stream Deck XL for my birthday and tried this. Superb addon, but I'm confused by the NOSE UP/SPD DEC and NOSE DN/SPD INC controls. In the real cockpit, there are separate controls for vertical speed mode (UP/DN) and for manual speed control (INC/DEC). I can't figure out any way to control vertical speed from the Steam Deck, as the "combined" controls appear to adjust only the speed in all modes. Since we have two completely unused buttons, could you please consider adding separate nose u/nose down buttons, or failing that if I'm missing something let me know how I can achieve vertical speed mode controls? Thanks!

Yes! I have been thinking the same thing since the two buttons on the AP page really do only control SPD/INC and SPD/DEC.
That page is pretty busy but I'll look into adding buttons to also control VS.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I wanted to use your scripts to make my own behringer X Touch mini profile with them... but i cannot fly the right script for increment and decrement the AP altitude setting. neither the MSFS standard command nor the G1000 command work.. do you have an idea?
02DropTopM3 author
Here are the scripts for increment and decrement AP altitude:
Increment by 100 ft:
(A:AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE LOCK VAR:0, feet) 100 + (>K:AP_ALT_VAR_SET_ENGLISH)
Increment by 1000 ft:
(A:AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE LOCK VAR:0, feet) 1000 + (>K:AP_ALT_VAR_SET_ENGLISH)
Decrement by 100 ft:
(A:AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE LOCK VAR:0, feet) 100 - (>K:AP_ALT_VAR_SET_ENGLISH)
Decrement by 1000 ft:
(A:AUTOPILOT ALTITUDE LOCK VAR:0, feet) 1000 - (>K:AP_ALT_VAR_SET_ENGLISH)

will you increase buttons for the auto throttle function in the later version?
02DropTopM3 author
Which buttons were you wanting me to add?
I already have buttons to turn Auto Throttle on / off, and buttons to choose MAN or FTC mode when Auto Throttle is enabled, and buttons to increase and decrease the Auto Throttle speed when you are in MAN mode.
Take a look at the AUTO PILOT page:
AT is the top-right button
MAN and FMS are just below that
SPD DEC and SPD INC are on the next row down next to the ALT+- dials.

I'm new to the Streamdeck universe. is it possible to include buttons for a numeric keypad in the script to enable digit-by-digit frequency input (and transfer to COM1), mimicking the right-side GTC screen?
02DropTopM3 author
I have not figured out a way to add buttons for the touch screen, including a keypad for entering frequencies, but I'm fairly new to this as well. Sorry.
