Build in 1943 as C-47A and based in Iceland, 1 October 1943 (s/n 43-30710) is the first DC-3 bought by Flúgfélag Íslands on 12 August 1946. With new tail number TF-ISH and given the name Gljifaxi (Shiny horse) flew for Flúgfélag Íslands then subsequently for Icelandair. Mostly flying domestic flights in Iceland and few international flights to Faroe Islands and Greenland Flúgfélag Íslands ended operations with DC-3s in 1973 after 27 years.
TF-ISH (Gljifaxi) then transferred to Conservation Service/Landgraedsla Rikisins for aerial agricultural application with new tail number TF-NPK and renamed Pall Sveinsson (Named after Pall Sveinsson as much my research goes, in 1947 started a major campaign to reforestation of Iceland with various types of tree and grass seeds with Vigfus Jakobson.). Fitted with a silo in the middle of the fuselage and carries up to 4 tons of fertilizer.
Still airworthy with new livery and different tail number TF-ISH (Gljifaxi) resides in Akureyri Aviation Museum in Iceland.
Copy and paste Flugfelag Islands folder to community folder and hopefully that should to the trick.
Hopefully you will have fun and the livery.
