This is a community member request for the Tiger Moth DH82C of the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum, Saskatoon, SK.
The history of this aircraft:
Delivered to stored reserve. To No. 3 Training Command on 15 June 1942, for use at No. 4 Elementary Flying Training School at Windsor Mills, Quebec. To St. Maurice Aircraft for overhaul, 22 February to 6 May 1944. To storage with No. 3 Training Command when completed. To Eastern Air Command on 12 September 1944, still in storage. Issued from storage on 23 December 1944. Pending disposal from 20 July 1945. By 27 November 1945 on the books of Maintenance Command, stored by No. 6 Reserve Equipment Maintenance Unit. Later stored at the Reserve Equipment Maintenance Satellite at Mt. Pleasant, PEI. Registered as CF-FYW to R. Bradley of Burtt's Corner, NB from 1951 to 1997. Several subsequent owners, registered to T. Coates of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on 23 May 2006.
