PL344 had a very 'busy' history that had it at the IWM at Duxford with the registration G-IXCC. She went to Australia and re-registered VH-IUK in 2021. In between she was with Kermit Weeks Fantasy of Flight. Read it all here https://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframeDossier.php?Serial=38017
Big thanks to ChicoMick for his Duxford as a fitting backdrop

Very nice work, Ron, I've always liked that one! That paint scheme is how it looked when restored for and operated by Tom L. Blair (hence the fuselage code letters), flown at different times both in the UK and the US. Blair sold the Spitfire in 2019, and now in Australia it has been fully repainted into a more historically-accurate paint scheme, as seen here: https://scontent.ffcm1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/316540031_562051912596651_2684791358682807997_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=0ix_ESAHydoAX8iWwqd&_nc_ht=scontent.ffcm1-2.fna&oh=00_AfDENOaREEyPrVuFoGjCPN2QFzY9hi-wzKlTODaHihhvlQ&oe=64142F9D

I was of a mind to disable the 'Wear' layer so that it reflected it's refurb in UK. But it's done now. Glad you like it.
