Perhaps the 'new Mach Loop', LFA17 is a very frequently flown low level system in the Lake District, Cumbria. Used regularly by crews at RAF Valley, it serves as a perfect hub to take the JustFlight Hawk T.1/A for a spin.
Departing from RAF Valley's Hawk apron, you'll transition north to the entry at Morecambe Bay, making sure to remain high over the caravan site to avoid sea-bird hazards. The usual entry, Lake Windermere will guide you in where you can decide to take the bends at Ambleside or take the more mundane route into Dunmail Raise around Loughrigg. Playing for the cameras at Dunmail Raise, you'll keep to the right of Great How, annoying the photographers at Smaithwaite, to take Keswick to it's north and transition out via the A66 to Buttermere into the brilliant fun Honister Pass. Imagination and navigational adeptness is required when exiting Honister pass to ensure you end up tracking back for Dunmail Raise to repeat the Dunmail-Keswick portion before low level exit.
