N3346V is a Beechcraft Bonanza V35 residing in the United States of America. Our current model are superior upgrades to this V-Tail built in 1947, but it's as close as we'll probably get. N3346V was actually hand painted by Diamond Aircraft Painting (decal attached under left ruddervator).
The V-tail or Vee-tail (sometimes called a butterfly tail[1] or Rudlicki's V-tail[2]) of an aircraft is an unconventional arrangement of the tail control surfaces that replaces the traditional fin and horizontal surfaces with two surfaces set in a V-shaped configuration. It is not widely used in aircraft design. The aft edge of each twin surface is a hinged control surface called a ruddervator, which combines the functions of both a rudder and elevator.
The V-tail was invented in 1930 by Polish engineer Jerzy Rudlicki[2] and was tested for the first time on the Hanriot H-28 trainer aircraft, modified by a Polish aerospace manufacturer Plage and Laśkiewicz in the summer of 1931.
Our N3346V was built in 1947 as noted above. Construction Number: D-810. Single engine Cont Motor E185 Series. Airworthiness Test completed March 30, 1955. Last known registration Williams, AZ.
Oh, and some little details included with this livery: In 1947 there were compartments built into the side of the fuselage for flairs. I've included those here. The id plate is included under the right ruddervator above the decal from Diamond Aircraft Painting.
Installation is simple:
Download the file from Flightsim.to. Inside the .zip folder is the yummy parts. Extract the file from the .zip folder to a location of your choice. Depending on the way you extract the file, you will either open that and copy and paste the main file into your community folder, or extract the main file directly into your community folder. Sorry if this sounds confusing, however, some people extract files to a folder such as their downloads folder (this is what I do to maintain control of all of my downloads). If you are like me, you know the main folder is inside that folder you extracted to your downloads folder. Some people extract the main folder directly. If that is what you do, paste it into the community folder. The file name you should be pasting into your community folder will read "CAR_Carenado-V35B_N3346V"
