Airborne Express was acquired by DHL about 20 years ago. From the late 70's until the merger, Airborne was pretty much in 2nd place behind Fedex, before UPS got so huge. They flew DC-8's, 9's, and 767-200's in this livery, most of that time, though I think that the livery went with am all red-tail later on. Not sure about that.
