This is a Carenado C170A HB-CAO livery for the Carenado C170B with a special black interior as real.
The flight of the C.170 prototype took place in 1947. The serial production started in 1948, the aircraft is
mixed construction like the C140, with aluminium fuselage and wing and canvas wings. 4 seats. Number of aircraft built = 730.
In 1949, the C.170A with sheet metal wing took over and was built until 1956. From 1951, the
production lines of the C.140A were stopped for the C.170.
The HB-CAO was for many years the property of the City of Lausanne Swizerland.
HB-CAO is now owned by the Historical Aircraft Group and is Operated by the AMPA and Charlie's Heavy.
The C170A is based in La Blecherette Lausanne Switzerland (LSGL)
