Portmoak Airfield is a major gliding site in Central Scotland and home to the Scottish Gliding Centre. It has distinctive hangars and buildings but somehow didn't fare very well with the default 3d buildings assigned to it. So after a struggle with the SDK I have finally managed a small scenery area to correct it. It didn't all work though because I can't find any way of removing parking spots and a fuel rig from "out in the field". Luckily however they don't really get in the way.
My first working attempt looked good but I then discovered I was using objects from other 3rd party scenery so I have completely remade it and chosen default sim objects. Not easy so some "artistic licence" was used but it should look OK. Now that we have reasonable slope and thermal soaring in the sim plus 2 default gliders and some great addon 3rd part ones I hope you enjoy "flying" from here. )I worked here for almost 20 years before retiring).
Just unzip and place in "Community" in the usual way (yes I know it has an odd title but that is a combination of the struggle with the SDK.

Just about to enter the world of Flight Sim (new PC expected this week🤞). When I get it set up and stabilised, I’ll download your Portmoak stuff.
We must try to catch up.
All the best.

One I've flown from in real life - really good scenery rework. While I don't frequent it in sim, I'll often do low approaches as PFL practice. Thanks for this!
