Notes:
Fully interactive in-game checklists for the WBSim/JPLogistics Cessna 152 if you prefer that format over reading a pdf. This file only updates the in-game checklist, I did not modify any other files since they're not mine to edit.
Asobo Cessna 152 checklist can be found here: https://flightsim.to/file/42225/c152-full-in-game-checklists
Features:
- Full interactive procedures as taken from the 1985 Cessna Model 152 Pilot's Operating Handbook.
- 99% working as a manual checklist or by using the Autocomplete Page option.
- Designed with Evaluation (Assisted Checklist / Copilot) mode in mind.
Basic Checklists:
- Preflight Inspection - Cockpit: 9 checkpoints (0 in original)
- Before Starting Engine: 8 checkpoints (2 in original)
- Starting Engine: 17 checkpoints (9 in original)
- Before Takeoff: 22 checkpoints (5 in original)
- Normal Takeoff: 5 checkpoints (3 in original)
- Enroute Climb: 4 checkpoints (0 in original)
- Cruise: 3 checkpoints (0 in original)
- Descent: 3 checkpoints (0 in original)
- Before Landing: 3 checkpoints (0 in original)
- Normal Landing: 6 checkpoints (0 in original)
- After Landing: 2 checkpoints (0 in original)
- Securing Airplane: 7 checkpoints (0 in original)
Deviations from POH:
- There is a preflight step in the POH to verify the low-vacuum warning light is on. This was an aftermarket modification and is not present in the sim. This step has been hidden from the checklist.
Known Issues - Won't Fix:
- Evaluation and autocomplete modes can't listen if a sound is being played, so when checking for avionics cooling fan, you're only checking if the avionics circuit is open.
- The beacon light isn't turned on until after you've started the engine and are ready to taxi and is turned off before shutting down the engine. This feels wrong, but follows the POH.
- Sometimes the visual cues highlight the whole instrument, sometimes just the needle. This is Asobo, they aren't one for consistency.
- FAA regulations state strobe lights should be used during all operations conducted under visual flight rules (VFR) at night and in conditions of reduced visibility. There aren't any variables to test for visibility or whether a flight is VFR, so evaluation mode only checks for night prior to takeoff takeoff.
Known Issues - Investigating (future update):
- Circuit Breakers have a lot of interaction with the electrical system. I can add some checks, but it will take a while to write, so there's nothing being looked at now. Make sure they're all pushed in if you have any problems.
- The starter checkpoint will pass as soon as you engage it, that's default Asobo behavior, keep it engaged a few seconds if the engine stops.
- There's no check to make sure the pilot door is closed
- Radios and Avionics on and/or set work sometimes, other times require manual intervention in evaluation mode.
- Elevator Trim adjust should be checking for relatively level flight (+/- 50 ft per second) instead of nothing, but it's not passing vertical speed correctly.
Gameplay Notes:
- Some checkpoints may have been reworded to make more sense within the game
- External preflight inspection not included as there's no interactivity. Assume your plane is in perfect condition.
- Non-standard and emergency checklists won't be included until Asobo changes the way they categorize checklist steps. It's unintuitive to naturally change between lists if you don't need them.
- It's just a checklist. Though some steps are automated, particularly in auto complete mode, it won't fly the plane for you.
WBSim/JPLogistics Specific Notes:
- The checklists for the fairing and taildragger variants have been added and should work, but have not been tested.
- There's nothing here that's going to teach you how to use non-standard equipment, that includes the iPad or Autopilot.
- I am assuming you know to remove the engine and pitot cover, chocks, close the door, or make sure you have oil on board.
- Enabling ADF (KR87), Transponder (GTX330) may break some checkpoints, use at your own risk
- You can use the EGT gauge, but nothing here checks either that or the clock, it won't interfere with anything.
- ADF is missing part_id, so visual cues don't work
- Only the ALT breaker has a part_id, so visual cues don't work
- Pilot door does not have a part_id, so visual cues don't work

AWESOME!!!! I was hoping you would release this checklist for the WBS/JPL mod. Simply the best checklist in the game for the best GA trainer in the game. Thank you for your efforts.

Thanks for this. I know it's been requested for a while, so I did a pretty simple conversion from the Asobo C152 checklist. I haven't flown this one in a year and will update when I'm a little more familiar with the current state. Hopefully it works ok until then.
