Optional wingflex mod the Asobo 787-10. Following on from optional wingflex mod for the Kuro 787-8 mod. This mod is designed to slightly dampen what some may feel to be 'too much flex'. It reduces the wingflex scalar from the exaggerated 133% to close to real levels using 787 material data (in this case 0.981216). This will make for more realistic curve at all stages of flight. I was the one who recoded the wingflex for all the FS9/FSX/P3D TDS and POSKY models including the 787 so I do have extensive background in tweaking the wingflex of aircraft to be correct.
Drag and drop into the community folder NO LONGER SUPPORTED.
To install, navigate to \asobo-aircraft-b787-10\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_B787_10
In this folder find the flight_model.cfg and back it up.
Drop the flight_model.cfg from this download into the folder and overwrite.
You can adjust the flex scalar yourself in the flight_model.cfg of this download (open the cfg using notepad). Search for the line starting with wingflex_scalar (if you are unfamiliar, use ctrl+f to bring up the search box). It'll be under the [FLIGHT_TUNING] section. You can change the value after the = as desired. Do not increase or decrease by much, only by decimals at a time. Default value is wingflex_scalar=1. For more pronounced flex you can put it to 1.25, for less you can put to 0.75 (not recommended). Do not touch the wingflex_offset =0 section unless you are familiar with what it does.

POSKY, that brings back memories, what excellent modelling those planes are.
