Norse Atlantic Airways Livery for the 787-9. Registration LN-FNC "Everglades" (delivered May 2018 to Norwegian Air). Norse Atlantic currently only operates the 787-9 with 10 in service and two more -9's on order, in addition to 3 787-8's on order. Per the company website, each plane is named after a famous Worldwide National Park served by or to be served by the airline, such as Raet, Everglades, Dartmoor, Grand Canyon, Oseberg, and Yellowstone National Park.
NOTE: *Some screenshots show incorrect registration 'LN-FND/LHD' instead of '-FNC' and 'Oseberg' instead of 'Everglades' - these are older versions for testing and have been corrected*
For the payware 4Simmers 787-9. Please do not PM me asking for help regarding the model as this is just a livery.
Install: Just unzip and drag and drop into the Community Folder
Known Issues/To Do List (Livery only):
- Rolls Royce logo on left engine (outward facing) is mirrored (limitation with the paintkit - trying to see what I can do to fix in Blender)
- Both Engine sides facing toward passenger windows (inward facing) do not have Norse branding or Rolls Royce logo (Painkit limitation)
- Bottom Fuselage "Flynorse.com" not mapped (paintkit limitation - weird mirroring going on and rear gear doors mapped differently)
- Rear cargo door hinge on right side is not coloured with livery like left side fuselage (paintkit limitation - Devs mapped both front and rear cargo door hinges to the same texture map area so if I fill it in, the front cargo door hinge would be similarly coloured and break the livery/immersion up more than leaving it white for now)
Info (Wikipedia):
Norse Atlantic Airways was founded in February 2021 by Bjørn Tore Larsen, with Bjørn Kise and Bjørn Kjos holding minority stakes. The airline was announced on 15 March 2021, alongside its plans to begin selling tickets in the fall of 2021 for the start of scheduled commercial flights in December 2021. The airline's plans also included intentions to operate twelve Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft previously operated by Norwegian Air Shuttle and its associated subsidiaries, establishing partnerships with other Norway-based airlines, including Norwegian Air Shuttle and startup airline Flyr, as well as floating the company onto the Oslo Stock Exchange. The airline had announced London, Oslo, and Paris in Europe, alongside Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City in the United States as its planned initial destination cities, with destinations in Asia to follow
