This mod version combines all my previous B247D mods in one. To install this mod just place the folder in the community folder. DO NOT OVERWRITE THE ORIGINAL FILES.
- The oil temperature indicators in the original plane have a 140 instead of 180. It has been corrected.
- The Oil Temperature indicatiors show the CORRECT temperature
- The VSI is fixed. Now shows the real vertical speed while ascending or descending with speeds grater than 500 fpm
- The cylinder and carburator temperature indicator in the original plane has a placeholder. I have replace it with the General Electric's logo.
- I have reduced the effect of the cowl flaps levers. Now is much easier to control the oil temperature. It takes some time to warm, but now it is possible to keep the needle steady in a temperature position instead of "chasing the needle" all the time.
- I have created a Wwise file to include several sounds:
- Sound for the fuel pump system (valve left and right, valve on/of, and pump) - Missing right flywheel
- Tocuchdown sounds added
- Fixed (and replaced) missfiring sound
- Added missing sound when selecting right fuel tank
- Replaced the engine combustion and propeller sounds.
- Replaced flywheel and cluch sounds.
- Added humming sound while the battery is connected.

Another suggestion for an improvement is that I think the V/S gauge is labelled incorrectly. The range between 0-500fpm is accurate but the range that claims to be 500-2000fpm appears to actually measure only between 500-1000fpm based on the readout I see from Little NavMap

But I have to ask you should I disengage:
https://flightsim.to/add-ons/boeing-247d#:~:text=B247D%20Oil%20Temperature%20Indicator%20FIX
...or I can leave it to function along. I don't think so, but would appreciate just a yes or no.
Many hanks in advance!

XXX_Kokakolo_b247d_MOD\SimObjects\Airplanes\wing42-boeing-247d\sound
is different from the sound in:
\XXX_Kokakolo_b247d_MOD\SimObjects\Airplanes\wing42-boeing-247d\sound\NEW ENGINE SOUND
It's unclear if that is intentional.
Also, agree with the prior review, the phasing sound when you switch to external view is not much fun to listen to. I haven't tried it yet with the sound.xml in \sound\NEW ENGINE SOUND so will update this comment if that fixes it.

The sounds work great... as long as I remain in the cockpit view. If I switch to third person when at a high power setting or in cruise, it introduces the flanging (phasing) sound and it persists even when I return to cockpit view.
Other than that, the propeller chop sound seems a bit too pronounced when the engine is idling. The aircraft sounds like a helicopter when idling around 700rpm.
Looking forward to seeing where this mod goes!
