I have cleaned up and added the actual Pelican Island heliport to MSFS. It exists in the base scenery but you cannot start there. It's just background. Here I have cleaned all of the trees out of the water and cleaned up the broken oil rigs and ships. I have added lights and ships and the helipads also. This port has a shipyard for both ships and oil rigs. There are 5 rigs waiting to be towed to the gulf. Across the strait is Galveston Texas that has KGLS airport with the PHI helicopter base. On the Galveston side I fixed the ships and cleaned up the water side of the port as well. There are a total of 4 helipads, but no parking spots. You can start cold and dark at Galveston and fly to the helipads or start with engines running on the helipads. The oils rigs do not have landable pads. I will look around for some assistance and see about adding those in the future. This is a nice hop from Dallas or down to 7LS3 in Louisiana or over to Lafayette.

Good effort.
However, I have a couple of little niggles - not with the scenery, but with the presentation.
1, Where is it?
I came to New Releases looking for interesting items to add to my collection. One problem. Looking at the name, and description, I had no idea where Shell Pelican Island Heliport (which looks quite interesting) is located. I only found out when I found a reference to "Texas" in the description.
2. Where is it? Part 2
My first thought was that I'd use the GPS Coordinates to identify location. Not there.
OK, that's it. No biggy, but if you would like to help your followers (those who aren't locals, that is, of course), could I suggest that you add those coordinates, and at least in the title give some clue to just where the artifact is in real life? I know that you've included the code by which it is known, but this type of code just doesn't trip off the tongue as would, say, KBFI, or KNID.
Thank you for reading this far - I'm just asking that you make it easier for the average pensioner to work out whether or not they download your offerings, and please believe that this is suggested as constructive criticism, which is always the only criticism that should be used in polite conversation.
Regards, John
