This scenery is made to reflect how the airbase looked when being the home of the Swedish Air Force Flying School/Krigsflygskolan somewhere around the late eighties to the early ninties. The airport was left by the Swedish Air Force in 1996 and since then the westernmost end of the airport has been closed and turned into a motor-track and has hosted multiple car races.
The two shorter runways were added around the formation of Trafikflyghögskolan/TFHS, which is now part of Lund University. Prior to that the part of the field had two grass strips.
A suitable flight would be with one of my BlackBox Bulldog/SK61 repaints from Ljungbyhed, also available here on Flightsim.to
The scenery is based upon what can be seen in images from public sources such as Google Streetview, Flickr, AirHistory.net, Digitalt Museum, Flyget i Ljungbyhed 1926-1996 etc.
