This addon adds a Rebecca-Eureka style ground beacon to Operation Tonga DZ "N", north of Ranville in France. This navigation aid designates the drop zone for the following aircraft to help secure the Eastern flank during D-Day.
Although the Rebeccae-Eureka is its own in-house transponder radar system. I have tried to replicate this through a VOR (116.600). This is so that it can be found when flying the DC3. The addon adds the navigation aid to simulate the portable ground beacon.
Key Information

Navigraph Users! As this adds a navigation aid, you may be required to add it to the content.xml BACKUP files before doing so.
Steam users:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\content.xml
Add the following line below the last similar line. Change the priority number if required. If the file already has a priority 3 make the new line priority 4 etc.
<Package name="jnln-operation-tonga-dz-n-eureka" priority="3"/>
The content.xml should then look similar to below, an example is in the pictures.
<Priorities>
<Package name="navigraph-navdata-base" priority="1"/>
<Package name="navigraph-navdata" priority="2"/>
<Package name="jnln-operation-tonga-dz-n-eureka" priority="3"/>
</Priorities>
Short History
Rebecca-Eureka is a portable radar beacon designating Drop Zones (DZ) and Landing Zones (LZ) for following aircraft to drop paratroopers and supplies.
Operation Tonga. In brief, it started at midnight 6th of June 1944 to capture bridges and artillery batteries. This included Pegasus Bridge which is around 1 to 2 miles from DZ "N". The operation aimed to secure and protect the eastern flank during the main landing force assault on Normandy - Operation Overlord. Pathfinders initially landed and placed the Eurekea ground-based radio-homing equipment before further units of Operation Tonga were deployed overhead and later by Glider.
DZ "N" and later LZ "N" were used primarily by aircraft from Brize Norton EGVN and Fairford EGVA, the timings of these aircraft are seen below in the air operations chronology (Second link).
