Rowland Flat Airfield is a small private airfield approximately 50km northwest of Adelaide, in Krondorf, South Australia (weirdly none of the airfield is actually in neighboring Rowland Flat). It is home to the Barossa Valley Model Aero Club, and hosts the annual Barossa Airshow. Runway 08/26 is unimproved grass, sloping down westerly; the model aero club runway is not included in this scenery.
The main focus was to add this airfield to MSFS. Please note that the ICAO code YRFA is made up for this scenery because MSFS requires one, the real airport doesn't have a code. This scenery uses all stock assets, you don't need to download anything else for it to work.
Version 1.1:
- Fixed windsock direcion
- Added airport star to world map
Version 1.0:
- Added Rowland Flat Airfield to MSFS
- Placed runway 08/26
- Fixed the buildings onsite to be more accurate, there are now two small hangars and a shade structure
- Added the tiny model aero club apron
- Added gables and cones
- Added a windsock in the approximate location used for air shows, it is not normally installed
- Misc. scenery/vegatation additions and fixes
Known Issues:
- The grass needs a trim, but there's no good way to do this with the SDK yet
- Minor ground texture issues
If I've overlooked anything or you have any suggestions, please leave a comment.
Thanks, and enjoy!

I've been here a few times, and noticed the windsock is in the wrong place. Is that something that can be updated?

Certainly, I just used Google Maps when I did field. Let me know where it should be and I'll try to get an update out when I can.

What's with the test file please? No text file explanation!

The test file was to test a fix for someone having a specific issue with this add on. I've removed it now since it's no longer needed. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the scenery! There are two small bugs I noticed. One is that the windsock points in the wrong (opposite) direction to the wind. The other is that the white cone objects do not appear in the sim.

The windsock direction is a known MSFS bug, I will try to get a fix out later today. I'm not sure why the cones wouldn't be appearing for you though, they're the same ones I use for all my sceneries. Hopefully the new version will fix the issue for you.
