SSW FRF-104G repaint/livery for MSFS2020. Version 1.0.
This is a livery repaint of the German Air Force RF-104G "Aufklärungsgeschwader 52" - Code: 24+99.
(RF-104G means Reconnaissance Fighter)
The coding took place at the beginning of the deployment of the F-104 with the German Air Force - in natural metal design -
with only black letters and numbers. This was the case from 1961 to approx. 1968.
With the introduction of the comouflage finish from around 1969, the black letters and numbers also received a white border line.
Later, from around 1972, only numbers were used, with black paint and a white border line.
This aircraft is shown with tip tanks with bright orange colored bands/identifiers; pylon tanks in normal comouflage color.
The reconnaissance squadron AG52 had a white circle with a black panther's head and red lettering 52 as a coat of arms,
which was arranged on both sides of the rudder.
After a few attempts to convert an F-104G to an RF-104G (Reconnaissance Fighter), the version shown here was finally used.
This version consists in the fact that instead of the complete cannon with accessories, one from the hull camera housing protruding
behind the nose gear, was installed. This version RF-104G is part of the SSW F-104G.
Homebase AG 52: Eggebek, later Leck in 1964: Leck ICAO Code: EDXK
