As requested by @willowfsx, a repaint of the excellent Asobo/Microsoft/Orbx de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou in the colours of Air Mobility Command Museum's C-7A, 63-9760. The aircraft, c/n 224, was originally delivered to the US Army in March 1965 and assigned to the 134th Aviation Company, "The Rough Riders", with whom it was deployed six months later from Fort Benning to Vietnam's Delta region (where the unit's Caribous were split between Soc Trang and Can Tho).
It was transferred to the US Air Force at the turn of 1967 as part of Operation Red Leaf, joining the 483rd Troop Carrier Wing (Pacific Air Forces) at Cam Ranh Bay AB in South Vietnam and remained in theatre for a further four years (including various temporary detachments to Bien Hoa, Tan Son Nhut and its former home at Can Tho) before returning to the US in December 1971. After a brief stint with the Warner Robins Air Materiel Area (AFLC) at Robins AFB in Georgia for maintenance, the aircraft spent more than a decade with the 908th Tactical Airlift Group (Air National Guard) at Maxwell AFB, Alabama before returning to the US Army in August 1983. It subsequently served with the US Army's Golden Knights Parachute Display team as a jumpship (though it is not believed to have recieved the iconic white, black and gold livery), the Connecticut Army National Guard (CTARNG) Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD) and finally the Alabama ARNG before being withdrawn from use and then acquired in 1996 by the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover AFB, Delaware where it remains on display today.
NOTE: This package contains alternative textures - full, clean camo (as requested) and camo with white wings and tailplane, reflecting the aircraft's current state.
