This is a modification to the MSFS 2020 default Asobo Boeing 747-8i aircraft and is primarily aimed at improving the aircraft flight model to make its overall performance more closely match the actual aircraft, providing a much closer experience to flying the real aircraft. Multiple changes have been made to the flight model parameters, and the aircraft weight and balance, which are detailed in the Change Log file included under the Documentation folder. This mod also fixes a couple of bugs in this aircraft, including the random landing gear failure bug described in multiple Forum posts.
This mod is easily installed by simply unzipping the download file and copying the mge-asobo-aircraft-b7478i folder to the MSFS Community folder. It will then replace the existing default Boeing 747-8i aircraft in the MSFS aircraft selection screen, and will also continue to utilize all of the existing available Liveries. To uninstall the mod and return to using the MSFS default aircraft, simply remove it from the Community folder.

Thanks for dealing with that so fast, you’re a good man!
About an hour ago I departed KLAX for YSSY with 90% fuel so Centre Wing Tank and Stab Tank about 3/4 full. Initial climb to FL320 which I am currently at with first step climb to FL360 in another 300nm with a planned cruising altitude of FL380. Stab Tank has just started to transfer into Centre Wing Tank and both fuel flow rates looking good. I suspect I will be getting a successful switch to Main Tanks 2&3 at the appropriate time. The plane is balanced out nicely at FL320 cruising Mach 0.855 with about a 2-3 degree nose up attitude, so pretty much level flight and looks nice from outside the plane.
Cheers, if you don’t hear from me, you will know everything is good. 😊

Set the FUEL slider to 34% to fill all 4 MAIN tanks with an equal amount of fuel. You should then reconfigure the fuel system for "Tank to Engine" mode by turning the OVRD 2 and OVRD 3 pumps OFF and closing the two outer FUEL XFEED valves.

Experiencing the same problem as earlier message by PlutonianEmpire.
My experience is this. After AAU2 update there where many changes to the 747-8, one of which was the option in the FMC > settings to automate the fuel system. This was a game changer for me as I fly many long-haul flights requiring both the Stab Tank and Centre Wing Tank to be used. My experience with the FMC fuel setting set to automatic is during cruise flight the Centre Wing Tank will drain to a point where the Stab Tank will then start to decant into the Centre Wing Tank indicated by a green arrow. The Stab Tank will empty into the Centre Wing Tank before the Centre Wing Tank itself is empty, before automatically switching to Main Tank 2 & 3. There is no point explaining the rest of the fuel switching sequence because that part of the fuel switching process is working fine and that is why if you are not doing long-haul flights requiring the Centre Wing Tank and Stab Tank you will not know there is a problem with it.
I have tested this with the mods I have in the community folder, with the community folder completely empty and with the community folder empty only using your Mod. In other words, every which way. What I have found is with the community folder empty and flying the 747-8 with no Mods the fuel system on automatic works fine with the Stab Tank emptying into the Centre Wing Tank before the Centre Wing Tank empties then it automatically switches to Main Tanks 2 & 3, so all good there, works fine.
This is what happens with the community folder empty with only your Mod. The Centre Wing Tank drains at a rate that appears normal. When it comes time for the Stab Tank to start decanting into the Centre Wing Tank it does so indicated by the green arrow HOWEVER the transfer rate is dismal at approximately 1 gallon per minute. With the Stab Tank transferring at such a slow rate the Centre Wing Tank empties before the Stab Tank can finish transferring fuel. The result is the fuel system does not automatically switch from the Centre Wing Tank to Main Tanks 2 & 3 and the green transfer arrow stays green instead of turning off. I suspect all of this is happening due to the very slow transfer rate from the Stab Tank to the Centre Wing Tank which is leaving a considerable amount of fuel in the Stab Tank after the Centre Wing Tank has emptied. This has been a problem since SU15 or when you fixed the no throttle issue which I also experienced.
Hope you are doing well, I had a Ceramic On Ceramic Hip Resurfacing operation on my right hip a few months ago and now going back into hospital tomorrow to have an Arthroscopy for a torn Maniscus in my left knee!! It’s such a pain in the ass getting old…. lol 😊
